Banging, squealing, rattling, or grinding noises often point to trouble—such as motor problems, loose furnace components, or ignition issues.
If some rooms in your home feel overheated while others stay cold, it’s time to have a professional take a look at your system. Issues like a failing blower motor or leaky ductwork are often the cause.
A furnace that’s old, dirty, or hasn’t been properly maintained will have a hard time heating your space efficiently—and that almost always leads to higher energy bills.
If your furnace turns on and off repeatedly in short bursts, you’ll want to have the thermostat, air filters, and airflow patterns checked.
A furnace in good working order should have a steady blue pilot light. If the flame is yellow, it could signal incomplete combustion and a potential carbon monoxide risk.
Burning, metallic, or rotten-egg odors may indicate electrical issues, gas leaks, or that your furnace components are dirty and need to be cleaned.
If you’re dealing with more static, dry skin, or extra dust around your home or business, it’s a sign your furnace may not be circulating air the way it should. Having it checked by a professional can help fix the problem.
Cracked heat exchangers or ventilation problems can set off your carbon monoxide detector—a warning you should never ignore. If this happens, leave the space immediately and call an HVAC professional right away.
As HVAC systems age, they’re more prone to breakdowns and reduced efficiency. Once your system hits the 10-year mark, it’s a smart idea to schedule annual inspections to keep it running safely and effectively.
For homeowners and property managers, choosing the right HVAC company for furnace installation and repair is an important decision. With so many options out there, it can be tough to know who you can count on and who might be cutting corners. At Dynamic HVAC, we’ve built our reputation by focusing on a few key priorities that give our customers confidence in choosing us:
To legally provide HVAC services in White Lake Township, companies must hold licenses from both the state of Michigan and the federal government. While some competitors may cut corners, we maintain every license required by law.

We provide an array of furnace repair and installation services for residents and property managers in White Lake Township and the rest of Southeast Michigan. Some of the cities and towns we serve include:
Still have questions about furnace installation or repair? Curious about some of the furnace services the professionals at Dynamic HVAC provide? We’ve rounded up a few of the most common questions our customers have below!
It can in a few meaningful ways. Homes on larger, more wooded lots in White Lake Township tend to be more exposed to wind and cold air infiltration, particularly in winter. Tree canopy and shade can also affect how much passive solar heat a home retains. These factors can increase the overall heating demand on a furnace compared to a similarly sized home in a denser suburban setting. We account for all of this during our load assessment to make sure the system we recommend is genuinely suited to your property and its surroundings.
The cost depends on several variables — your home’s size and construction, the efficiency level and brand of the furnace, whether venting or ductwork updates are needed, and the scope of any repair. We provide free, fully itemized quotes before any work begins so there are no surprises. Financing options are also available to make a new heating system manageable within your budget. Head to dhvac.com to get the process started.
A few come up regularly. Homes with older insulation or drafty windows and doors put extra strain on furnaces trying to maintain a consistent temperature. Properties with larger square footage or open floor plans can develop uneven heat distribution, with some rooms staying comfortable while others fall short. We also see situations where furnaces were originally installed without a proper load calculation, leaving them oversized or undersized for the home — both of which create problems over time. We’re always happy to evaluate your current setup and identify what’s contributing to any comfort issues you’re experiencing.
Oakland County winters are long and cold, and White Lake Township — being further from the urban core — can feel even more exposed to the elements. Furnaces in this area often run at high demand for five to six months out of the year. That sustained workload accelerates wear on key components like the heat exchanger, burner assembly, and blower motor. A well-maintained system can comfortably reach 18 to 20 years, but without annual servicing, meaningful decline can start showing up well before that threshold.
Replacing your furnace or air conditioner can put a pretty good dent in your household budget. So, when you catch
A new furnace, air conditioner, or heat pump can take a pretty good bite out of your home improvement budget.
Replacing your home’s heating setup isn’t something you do very often. When the time finally comes, you might find yourself
